Collection: The Elephant Project

At several locations in Thailand elephants have already been brought back into their natural habitat, the freedom of big national parks. But elephants also njoy to get out of the parks if the like the plants on the fields of the farms around.  Quite often they completely destroy the fields and nobody is compensating the farmers. who are losing their entire basis of existence. At Kuiburi national park a group of farmers and volunteers has been build to find out which plants the elephants don't like and which products can be made from this plants. Their project is called the Dum Yum Project and they have been creating amazing products which a beautiful and useful for everybody. Buying and using this products gives all of us a chance to support the group which makes it possible that farmers and elephants can coexist.
